The testing process is two-part: you perform the sample collection, and we conduct the DNA test in the laboratory.

Part 1: Sample collection at home
We will mail an in-home testing kit to any address you provide. All you have to do is follow the easy step-by-step instructions included in the kit to collect the DNA samples. The kit contains mouth swabs (like a Q-Tip but longer) to gather the cheek cells. All you do is rub these swabs on the inside of your cheek.

We'll include four swabs for each person to be tested. All we ask is for you to use two swabs on the inside of the left cheek and two swabs on the right cheek. Note that this is not a saliva test; you are collecting the loose cheek cells that naturally shed from the inside of the mouth. These contain the DNA for a paternity test.
